Marena and Chris
Marena and Chris Digby are the co-owners of ‘The Pilates Company’ and it’s teacher training company, ‘Positive Action Pilates’.
They have over 40 years of Pilates experience between them and are considered both Fitness and Pilates experts. Regularly invited to present at fitness conventions such as Filex Australia. In 2015 Marena and Chris were personally invited to present on Pilates at the world’s largest fitness convention; IDEA World in Los Angles. Marena has co-authored a book and appeared on Pilates DVDs. She was also selected by Donna Aston and Sue Stanley as their Pilates expert.
They have both studied ‘contemporary’ Pilates in Australia and have recently undertaken the prestigious ‘Real Pilates Teacher Training’ program in New York City to deepen their ‘Classical’ Pilates knowledge and become 3rd generation Pilates teachers.
Sophie is a qualified Pilates instructor, personal trainer and dance teacher with a lifetime of experience performing and training in dance, Pilates, aerial skills, gymnastics and fitness. Performing professionally since the age of 7 and with over ten years teaching experience, Sophie has Certificate IV & Diploma in Pilates (Mat, Studio and Rehab), Certificates III & IV in Fitness and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Sophie is an educator for Pilates teacher training courses with Positive Action Pilates and is co-founder and presenter of the Cueing the Dancer Franklin Method Workshops for dancers and dance educators. She has certifications in Progressing Ballet Technique, barre fitness, classical and fitness Pilates, and pre & post natal Pilates. She was one of the first certified In-Trinity instructors in Australia and has completed Lisa Howell’s Level 1 Dance Teacher & Therapist Training.
Secrets of Natural Walking
Donna Ellerton is an International presenter, trainer, wellness coach, author and creator of several fitness and wellness programs around the world, specialising in the health, wellness and the fitness industry.
She is the creator of Cycle Excel the worlds first Indoor cycling education portal offering online and face to face courses. Donna and also conducts corporate wellness and mindfulness education, as well as courses with a business called Well Body and Spirit. Her message encompasses all aspects of being well including having a healthy body image and finding a sense of peace and calmness in our busy world.
Ann Marie Pistikakis
Dance & Movement Specialist
Creator of Move Culture (a new dance, fitness and wellness studio in Melbourne), Ann-Marie is armed with over 30 years of dance/fitness industry experience. With a passion for people, Ann-Marie thrives on bringing the best out in individuals and is an advocate for mental and physical health and wellness.
A creative connector both in person and online, Ann-Marie is a Social Media/Community Manager all-rounder by day with experience in online forums and events. Her background includes working with the likes of Les Mills, lululemon athletica, Apple and Breast Cancer Network Australia.

This Pilates and Wellness Retreat is being run with the help and support of Lisa Pickering & Namaskar Retreats.
I have been operating and growing my successful dog walking and caring business for the past 11 years. My work has allowed me to spend nearly every moment with my beautiful husband and my wonderful dog.
In my spare time I have competed in marathon and half marathon events, fundraising for Breast Cancer Network Australia, Mitochondria Awareness and The Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation. Recently my 80’s Trivia Fundraiser raised over $5,936.00 for Peter MacCallum.
My love of running is what led me to practicing yoga for assistance in recovery after training or from the event itself. Having completed 8 half marathons and 3 marathons, I have decided to hang up my shoes for endurance events and roll out my mat instead.
